Celebrate the arrival of Lord Ganesha with devotion, joy and togetherness. Seven days of pooja, chanting, prasadam, cultural celebrations and community — join us to seek blessings and celebrate together!

Community potluck dinner 🍛 — one of the two main days
Days 2 – 6 · Tuesday, Sept 15 – Saturday, Sept 19Daily Darshan & Prasadam
Morning · from 6:30 am (1 – 2 hours)
- Nitya pooja & Harati by the priest
- Sahasranama chanting
- Darshan & prasadam — open to the public
Evening · 7:00 – 9:00 pm
- Nitya pooja & Harati
- Chanting, darshan & prasadam
- Same schedule all five days
Couples may sit in the morning or evening pooja — sign up first on the Participate page so the committee can arrange pooja items. Devotees are welcome to bring prasadam for the harathis (distributed in boxes to take home; small prasadams like atukulu & bellam may be eaten on site).
Day 6 · Saturday, Sept 19Cultural Fest ⭐🎭
Morning & Afternoon
- Morning pooja from 6:30 am
- Special pooja 10:30 am – ~1:00/1:30 pm
- Priest preparation & lunch to follow
Evening · from 5:30 pm
- Cultural pooja at 5:30 pm
- Cultural fest & kids' activities 🎭 — open space next to the host home
- Community potluck dinner 🍛

Day 7 · Sunday, Sept 20Uregimpu & Nimajjanam 🌊
Morning · from 10:00 am
- All poojas for Uregimpu (moving the idol)
- Laddu auction 🪙
- Procession — idol on a truck around the Brighton homes
Afterwards
- Nimajjanam — immersion in the ocean
- Laddu auction winner chooses: host next year or sponsor next year's idol (one, not both)
- Food TBD — Food Committee will decide (maybe a small breakfast)

- ✦ Venue: hosted with love at Vamshi & Mrudula's home — 1126 E Lock Rd. 🙏
- ✦ This year's idol is sponsored by Charan (2.5 – 3 ft, per community guidelines).
- ✦ Youth volunteers: kids who help with cleanup, serving food and more earn NGO-certified volunteer hours with certificates — great for school requirements. Sign up here.
- ✦ Prasadam: distributed in boxes right after pooja — please take it home to eat (small prasadams like atukulu & bellam are fine to eat on site).
- ✦ Seascape & HOA have been notified of the 5-day celebration — parking activity and chanting until 10 pm.
